Gothenburg Train Station
I took the X2000 high-speed train from Gothenburg to Stockholm. This is the
same kind of train being used on the Acela high-speed corridor on the East
coast of the US--it's an electric train that can tilt on its own base,
allowing it to run on regular tracks at higher speeds than normal.
The trip takes about 3 hours and was quite pleasant--the train is amazingly quiet. Sure beats flying. |
