Dining at Carlsten
|
We were served a Viking feast at Carlsten inside the castle. This is a view
of the dining room, a long, low, tunnel-like room inside the fort.
Notice the construction of the walls--the entire fort is built of thin stones like these set in mortar, not the massive boulders often seen in older castles. |
