Dinner at Hostellerie de Plaisance
| Matt, Steve, David, Geo, and I splurged on a stellar dinner at the Michelin-starred Hostellerie de Plaisance. With a late-night panel session to go to, we only had a few hours--not nearly enough time for the tasting menu, said the waiter. Even so, the shorter 5-course Basque-themed menu that we had left little to be desired, as did the 1996 Chateau Monbousquet wine that we shared. |
