At water's edge
| Here I'm standing with the camera at the edge of the ocean. You can see the vast expanse of open beach and hills between the water's edge and the tops of the hills...now imagine seeing this scene just having been dumped out of a flooding boat into the icy-cold water, with the beach covered with barbed wire, iron, and mines, and with guns firing down from the tops of those hills. I shudder to even imagine it. |
