Flowerbed at entrance
| In Amsterdam, we went to the Floriade show, a once-every-10-years festival that I can best describe as a cross between a flower show and Epcot Center. It was enormous, covering many kilometers, and included everything from vignettes of international life to flowers to live music to technology demos and attractions. We bypassed most of the attractions and focused on the flower beds, which displayed a stunning variety of the most colorful tulips and other Dutch flowers. |
